With 18 dealerships across 5 sites - Paisley, Glasgow, Stirling, Grangemouth and Kirkcaldy, the Phoenix Marketing Department is a busy office, organising and driving forward all the promotions that each dealership has to offer. As well as being one of the largest car dealerships in Scotland, Phoenix also provides a 'one stop shop' for Aftersales such as MOT Testing, Servicing, Tyres and Parts.
The ProblemThe Phoenix Marketing Department were sending weekly letters for MOT & Service reminders. This included, merging a database and printing letter, machine folding and insertion into envelope, franking and mailing. The amount of letters going out per week ranged between 200 and 650. As you can imagine this had taken up a lot of their valuable time.
The SolutionMLG Marketing Solutions provided a tailor made solution in the form of an online procurement site. The website was set up containing a number of A6 postcards where they could upload client data in an excel format, which automatically attached to the design chosen. This then created a print proof of the personalised postcard for approval and send to print.
The Department is now able to order MOT & Service Reminder postcards in the space of seconds where MLG Marketing Solutions would print and personalise with PPI number for postage and present to Royal Mail for mailing. The Marketing Team are now able to utilise the time saved to create similar cards for other communications activity which has increased response rates and they are delighted with the results.
