This truly international project united Montgomery Litho Group in Scotland with New York design agency Marque Creative, who were looking to produce a high quality case bound book for a gallery opening in Istanbul. Montgomery Litho Group managed the project from start to finish with Marque, receiving artwork from the US, printing and binding in Scotland, and delivering to Istanbul.

Texts, emails and phone calls were sent around the globe, and across different time zones, to deliver a final product of the highest quality.

The End Result

The end result was a beautifully printed and bound book which compromised of 3 different paper stocks and had sprayed colour edges and black foil blocking to add that extra quality to the finished book. The response from the gallery was that the book looked amazing.

The weather for the exhibition was the only down side. The day we tried to deliver via Fed-Ex Istanbul had some of its worst floods in years and even the local Fed-Ex warehouse was badly damaged!

Lisa the designer in New York also wrote to us thanking us for our time and patience in achieving the very high standard she required from the print and finishing, and that was much appreciated by us all.

As a book it shows MLG Ltd in a great light for producing very high quality print on different stocks and finishing to the highest standard, as well as getting our name out there in the wider world of print!
