MLG Scotprint, Edinburgh, has firmly established itself as one of Europe's leading cartographic printers. Through its acquisition of the Bartholomew Map Manufacturing Operation in 1993, Scotprint can trace its cartographic heritage back to 1826. Our specialist cartographic production facilities include two latest-generation large-format (7B) colour presses, large-format multi-concertina folding machines (12 concertina), automated and hand-finished map covering, attaching deluxe hanging strips and rolling & tubing. Other press formats include two 10-colour B1 perfecting presses, B2 5-colour presses and a range of smaller format colour presses. MLG Scotprint also offers state-of-the-art (in-house) binding facilities for cased, sewn-limp, slotted, pur or wire-stitched atlases and cartographic based books. Our customer services team has proven ability in handling covered, self-covered and multi-concertina folded maps as well as multi-language, deluxe and premium edition atlases and publications. Scotprint produces sheet maps, charts and atlases for many of the leading UK cartographic publishers. Scotprint is accredited to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, Fogra 39 and holds chain of custody for FSC & PEFC. |
